“From a wholistic approach, the nutrition coaching program has made such a positive impact on all areas of my life whether it is my internal work of becoming more self-aware of my strengths, my relationship with food or my relationship with others. Even though I’ve gone through waves of emotions navigating my relationship with food and dieting during this whole process, it has brought me to a point in my life where I can confidently say I have a better understanding of what good nutrition is, what works for my body and how food is not something I should be afraid of rather than can be enjoyed in moderation. As for my relationships with others, this new nutrition lifestyle has given me more energy to give onto others. I am more energetic at work whereas in the past, I felt fatigue and moved less especially when it came to do with anything physical with the kids in the classroom.
I am beyond happy and proud of my results. If my words don’t do justice, let the data speak for itself: In total I have lost 42-43 pounds in the span of 8 months which meant losing up to more than 20% of my total body fat where I now have 25% of body fat and gained so much more muscle.
Don’t be afraid to want something better for your life because you are deserving of it. Yes, it’ll take work and commitment but if you push through and keep telling yourself that you can do it the results will be rewarding. It’ll truly be life changing where it’ll become part of your lifestyle.

Having a diet tailored specifically to my lifestyle has made a positive impact on hitting my nutrition goals of beyond just maintaining this weight loss. I’ve gotten to understand what to substitute to make the meals I once enjoyed now be part of my diet. With this said, Korean cuisine is my comfort food as I grew up in a Korean household. I realized in the past couple of months of how I can incorporate the food I once loved back into my diet all with some tweaks in ingredients and moderation in portion. Not to mention, the high protein based diet has helped me in making mindful choices in social settings where I can still enjoy myself but all again in moderation.”

“I am eating much better and so much more than normal. I have more energy, feeling great about myself, and always full! I rarely get that overstuffed feeling. I noticed I make better choices when I go out to eat and if I am indulging I make it worth it. This helped me rewired my brain into thinking what is “good” vs “bad”. My favorite part is my weekly chats with Jamie. Sometimes it’s hard to see your improvements but Jamie always sees them and makes sure you notice them. Even when you are having a bad week Jamie does not make you feel even worse about it. She is like ‘okay that’s life we will try again this week’. I always feel much more confident after our check-ins.
Jamie has your best interests at heart. She wants you to be the best you. She always makes sure that you are okay throughout the whole journey. She is always willing to help no matter what. I am actually eating more! Before Jamie I would just have coffee for breakfast and majority of the time I would forget my lunch, the have dinner and call it a day. With this plan it all works with my schedule and I know what I will be eating every day. It just makes everything so much easier.”

“Prior to coaching with Jamie- I didn’t want to go shopping for clothing because I was overweight, and also had to buy loose fitting clothes to try and hide the fat. Now, I feel SO much healthier and have a much more positive outlook regarding my appearance. I am ecstatic with my results! I have tons of energy, I feel stronger and can wear anything I want!!! I am turning 60, and I never thought I could lose weight at my age. I thought it was hormonal and out of my control. My initial goal was 20 pounds but once I achieved it, I saw that it became a part of my lifestyle, and frankly got easier- I am now down 35 pounds!!!! I work in an extremely busy job and didn’t even have time to eat, and when I did have the time, I was eating very unhealthy. Now I have my meals prepared ahead of time and with me at my desk so all I have to do is reach in my bag and eat as I’m working.
